Hello css.sk community, team tags will not be mandatory. This doesn't mean you can't still use them.

Thanks,

Teams Layout

March 6, 2008 by jmcni2

As the rules state you can not be in 2 teams at once. This will result with disqualification of the offender. You are allowed to have a maximum of 4 players in a team. Please set out your team profile like this. e.g. Team:
NAME-steam id
NAME-steam id
NAME-steam id
NAME-steam id

Rules

Spectators
No spectators other then admins will be allowed in the server to avoid vent cheating. Boosting Boosting is allowed. You may stand on anyones head anywhere on the map, however you cannot boost into positions where a single player cannot reach.

Hacking
Hacking will not be permitted in any form. Servers will be equiped with admin esp and any suspicous players will be demoed and delt with accordingly.
Wall Climbing
At no time during the match will you or your team be permitted to strafe the wall to climb to the roof as this is an unfair advantage. You may however climb halfway up the wall to the point where it makes you stop.
Teams and Players
Only players on your roster may play for your team. Your players must use their real aliases and clan tag during the match. No player can be in more than one team in css.sk. If a player drops while match is live, the match will continue and only that player may rejoin at anytime. If the player cannot rejoin then a replacement may be used as long as they are registered with the team. NOTE: If any team uses a non-rostered player for a match, that team will have their match forfeited.

Captains
Teams may choose a leader to communicate on behalf of their team while the match is live. Captains will be allowed to global but must be wearing the captains tag [C]. Captains must only use global communication when it is necessary or if what is being said is something of substance and relevance. Spam or random chat is not acceptable and can be treated like any other globaling offense.
Bantering
No bantering will be allowed while the match is live. If bantering takes place then admins may choose to penalize teams with forfiet or deducting round points depending on the seriousness of the bantering.
Server Crashing
In the event of a server crash: - Players must rejoin immediately. - If under 3 rounds have been played, the half is restarted. - If 3 or more rounds have been played, the half is restarted but the score retained.
Match Format
The match will be 2 players vs 2 players. The scoring will work as follows: The basic layout is first team to 16 wins. The first half of the match is ended when 15 rounds have been played. At this point players swap sides and battle it out until one of the teams has won a TOTAL of 16 rounds. If the first half ended 8 - 7, the team with 7 needs another 9 (to equal 16) and the team with 8 needs 8 (to equal 16). For further clarification of the scoring, please contact an admin.

Rates
Rate changing scripts will not be allowed. Only the following rates may be used: - cl_updaterate 33-67 - cl_cmdrate 33-67 - rate 10000-30000 In-Game Chat During the match only say_team is allowed. Before live and after match say is allowed. No Global will occur as this will lead to punishment to the offending team. A team will recieve at least 2 global warnings before they are penalized.
players are assumed to have only 1 Steam Account, thus 1 Steam ID. The Steam ID that is used to sign up to the css.sK cannot at anytime be changed. If for whatever reason a player's Steam ID is changed or altered from the time of signing up, that player will be removed from the tournament and clan profile. All members on the forums have their IP addresses logged, so any players who choose to simply buy new accounts and join up later will be tracked if suspected of breaking this rule.
Abuse of Administrator/css.sk Management
The abuse of an Administrator or member of the css.sk Management Team is completely unacceptable at any time. Any issues that need to be addressed and conferred with an admin must be done so via PM or after the current match has taken place. Disregard for this rule can and will likely result in a permanent ban. Removal of any member from the css.sK competition and permanent banning from all css.sk servers will take place at Management's discretion. css.sk will have a zero tolerance policy for the breaking of these rules. Disregard for any of the above rules may result in the following: - Warning - Round penalisation - Match forfiet - Disqualification from the css.sk These rules are subject to change at anytime at the discretion of css.sk Management.
